Our Mission at CoVocis is to use the power of shared thoughts, experiences, wisdom, support and resources to help people who are dealing with a person troubled by mental health, substance and life problems.
CoVocis was created and developed by a team led by a psychiatrist, Dr. A, who has spent decades of his life treating people with mental health, substance, and life problems.
Dr. A learned from, and was deeply touched by, the suffering and frustration experienced by people who cared about friends or family troubled by mental health, substance and life problems. He realized the impact and struggles this had on, not only on his patients, but those people connected to his patients. After observing the lack of useful resources to help these connected people whom he calls “Caring Others”, he developed CoVocis.
At CoVocis, we know that the most powerful tool in helping “Caring Others” deal with a difficult situation are the stories, wisdom, and support of other human beings.
CoVocis means ‘Gathered Voices’.
What is CoVocis?
CoVocis was created to provide an interactive community of connected caring people who are struggling to deal with a person troubled by or afflicted with mental health, substance or life problems.
On CoVocis you can share your story and are able to access and read the stories of countless other people.
After you create your CoVocis account, you are in charge of how much, or how little, you would like to share about you and your relationship with the person affecting you.
Here’s how you use CoVocis:
